About Me

I am a graduate student and research assistant in Auburn University. My research is focusing on lithium-ion battery parameter and state estimation.

Battery health management plays an important role in improving performance and maintaining safe operations. By applying estimators and machine learning techniques, we revealed a window to look into the future. And by knowing the consequences we are able to deploy more efficient charging strategies and provide guidelines to cell manufacture. As the increase of computational power makes operations on large data sets more practical, it motivates us to utilize state-of-the-art deep learning techniques for creating accurate battery models.
